达干尔族主要聚居在嫩江两岸，在东北诸民族中，是社会发展水平较高、与外界经济文化接触和交流较多的民族之一。达干尔族的服装式样以袍式为主，为便于骑马，袍前后两面开衩。男装以皮质为主，女装以棉布居多。
