侗族居住在湘、黔、桂三省毗临地区。侗族服饰分为南北两种类型。生活在北部地区的侗族男子服饰与汉族基本相同；妇女上着无领衣，银珠大扣，下着裤。南部的男子多穿对襟衣，裹绑腿， 头缠亮布；女子上着紧身衣，下着百褶裙，或上着短衣，下着长裤，盛装时着鸡毛裙。
